Course Brief:

Spanning over 6 hours, the course offered valuable insights and knowledge. Participant were placed in diverse, cross-country assignment groups to address case studies relevant to each module—creating a unique opportunity to present findings in a live setting and direct feedback. The valuable aspects of the training, according to participants, included:

  • New facts and comprehensive explanation about climate change leading to strengthening knowledge on planetary health 
  • Sessions from external speakers/organizations working in health-climate space 
  • New approach to environment preservation 
  • Detailed information on climate change impact on crop failure, migration, health communities and migrant communities 
  • Practical aspect of adapting road map in study design 
  • Understanding role of health providers in advocating climate change
